Paul Blackburn was added. There are 5 hitters and 19 pitchers currently nominated. Feel free to come up with any names you'd like added to the list though I don't think we can go much deeper...

Clifton throws 93-95 on his FB and has the ability to spin a good breaking ball just lacks consistency of location on each. He was a raw high school arm when drafted in the 12th round in 2013 and has come a long way refining his delivery and improving his mechanics during that time. He's 20 and pitching in High-A. He's had K% above 20% every season and couples that with being difficult to hit keeping opponents averages to just .226 last year and .221 so far this season. In an informal poll of Low-A hitters last season, they chose Clifton as South Bend's toughest pitcher, way tougher to face than Stinnett.

He's still learning but he's got the best stuff of any remaining prospect and is over a year young for his league giving him the necessary time to improve.

Two position players who could be added include P J Higgins and Jason Vosler.

One pitcher who deserves a look is Felix Pena who was a mid-season all star in the SL last year and is off to a good start at Iowa. After that workhorse Zack Hedges and former prospect Gerardo Concepcion may catch a few eyes.

.. but with 2016 into May it's to the point where I'm starting to second guess some of the top 15 too.

Stinnett and Clifton, in that order.

Clifton probably a somewhat better arm, but Stinnett at present is showing hints of developing the command the Cubs envisioned for him when they drafted him. Clifton is showing the stuff we hoped he'd develop, but he's still really, really wild. Three years younger. All wild pitchers were 21 once, and most wild young guys are wild forever, but perhaps with time he'll be able to develop some control of his breaking stuff.
