Yeah, definitely blacked out here for the Reds series (I can still watch on the Fox Sports OH channel, but bad announcers). I only get the radio feed for the Cubs.

I'm still screwed on Pirates games, as I'm a) blacked out for those games while b) unable to get them on local TV

IIRC, it's only FOX that has an agreement for in-marketing streaming, so none of the Chicago broadcasts (CSN, WGN, ABC7, WCIU) would apply. While the Reds are on FOX, I think that means only Reds fans with FOX-OH can stream the game in their local market, not Cubs fans in Chicago.

Correct me if I'm wrong though, they might have added other stations and I missed it.

It's not working in STL either. Tried to stream the Cardinals game for my GF at her house the other night and it wouldn't work. They're on a Fox subsidiary too.

If you're using the MLB At Bat app to stream, then it uses your GPS location to determine blackouts. It's very easy to spoof your GPS location and I get around the blackout this way.

Right, but that's not the point. You're supposed to be able to stream in network as long as you have a cable package that gets the channel the games are on. It was asking for cable provider and log in during spring training, but it's not doing that anymore.

all the articles i can find about this are from january and say that mlb made a deal with fox sports to set this up and planned to have a deal with comcast and whoever else by opening day. then no updates and now no deal. super lame.
