This has nothing to do with anything but I was just watching the Kerry Wood homer against the Marlins in 03, which was the single best live moment I've ever been part of.

I just can't imagine what it would be like to win it all.

I've been waiting 12 years to have another playoff "moment" anywhere close to this. In 2007 pretty much the only even mildly exciting moments were Soto's HR and a Theriot game tying IF single. In 2008 you are pretty much limited to DeRosa's HR as I believe the Cubs trailed in every inning since the 5th inning of game 1

not sure why he didn't flip it to Montero

Not sure why nobody was covering 3rd base

Bryant went to get the ball, Russell was at 2nd, and pitchers instincts are not to cover 3rd base on a wild pitch.

i think his hand may have come off the bag briefly, but if it did it's because bryant pushed it off the bag.

I think it's really close that his hand may have brushed the glove right before hitting the base.

Right there was no clear look. My only fear was them making a judgement call and not requiring indisputable evidence.

(a) i wonder if george wendt gets tired of being asked about norm pederson.

(b) i feel like george wendt needs to start losing weight, because you don't normally see people with his physique living well into their later years.

That Fraiser Crane trivia is so wrong. Richard Belzer's Detective John Munch has appeared on like five or six shows.

i have no idea the context of the question but maybe they mean a "main" character? was munch a main character?
