Sweet Starlin is helping us now and helps that trade value. Win/win

I'm going to count this as you complimenting him.

He's been really good lately. Benching him was the right thing to do, he needed that mental break and Maddon is doing a good job at getting him in favorable spots.

Good Lord, what a meatball narrative. I think the benching definitely helped in that it made him realize he needed to change something at the plate, but it's those actual changes that's he been coached on and that he's executing that are making the difference, not a "mental break."

coomer kept calling matt stairs "stairsy" on the radio earlier when i was driving home

SERIOUSLY? Stairsy is going too far.

i don't see why the concept of a mental break is necessarily some meatbally notion

so a friend of mine is deaf in one ear. i don't know the specifics but he's getting some kind of device drilled into his head and this thing apparently syncs with his bluetooth so he can like listen to stuff from his phone through it

Because we've just had two posts in short order from people here thinking the benching itself is what fixed him, as opposed to the tangible changes in his approach at the plate that you have actually posted some of the best evidence of.

But yeah, I'm sure it's more that he had more time to sit around and think real hard about things.

I'd rather have the pitcher hit 7th at this point over Ross
