Kobe is undoubtably a dick, but him getting [expletive] for not calling a center who is terrible and could be out of the league soon, a reserve guy who just chucks and a backup PF to welcome them to the team/be excited they joined is really dumb.

not automatically. it is conceivable (if unlikely) that a whole division will miss the playoffs.

The NBA's push to give players more rest between games has been extended to the NBA Finals. The Association announced Wednesday that it was extending all travel breaks for Finals games to two days, per Diamond Leung of the Bay Area News Group.

Well it's just for travel, so maybe it adds a couple extra days for the Finals. But yeah...I'm already sick of basketball by the time the Finals roll around. This won't help.
