So, Utah could have gone up 14-0 on Oregon on this play:

A Vine does not do this play justice.

Sorry, the Vine was all I had on my phone. What a Leon Lett moment and Utah hung around in that game until the last few minutes - they might have been able to pull off the upset without that 14-point swing.

Watched this play live and to add to the crazy, the 1st Oregon player was the Saftey who was beat - Eric Dargan. He picked up the ball and looked to the side judge and then dropped the ball too. Crazy that after all that, 100 yards later the game was tied.

But I do have to disagree on the upset possibility, even if it was 14-0. The 1Q was bad because they were using the silent count and the 3 freshman on the line (only 2 healthy starters, down to one now after All Pac-12 center goes down) had never done it before and thus were not concentrating on assignments. All bad plays had unblocked D-linemen coming in untouched.

Regardless, the Ducks were never in jeporady even in the 3rd when it was 30-27. Offense finally started to roll. I will say that something had to be happening to the turf. The cart for major injuries was out 3 times and both teams lost at least 5 starters to knee or leg injuries. Horrific actually

Obviously we don't know what else would have happened the rest of the game if Utah had scored that TD but you really didn't like the chances of Utah's upset bid if the 14-point swing had been in their favor? I mean, you point out a 4th quarter score of Oregon leading 30-27 as the game not in jeopardy, but that would have been a Utah 34-23 lead in my what-if scenario.

Lot of potential first couple of round guys got hurt yesterday, some looked like season-enders: Auburn WR Duke Williams, Alabama RB TJ Yeldon and Oregon's CB Ifo Ekpre-Olomu and C Hroniss Grasu.

I didn't like MSU's matchup with OSU. They are good at what MSU's defense is willing to give you, deep passes. When we adjusted in the 2nd half, we gave up too much yards rushing. That being said, I think MSU abandoned the run too much, even when it was still tied in the first half. I think OSU can play with some of the big names, but their defense will have to be better.

Duke sprained the mcl in his right knee, but no torn ligaments and no surgery needed. He may be out for the year though. Wondering whether this will impact his draft stock substantially.

Wow, that's good for him. The injury looked much worse.

Ifo will be back after the bye week against Colordo. Just the lingering foot/ankle stuff led to a toe injury. Grasu is worrisome...freshman center would join 3 other freshman on the line....ugh
