Yeah the walks and Isod have really surprised me. Like you said, the defense and baserunning will give him a boost. I guess we'll see how his avg holds up with the K's, but there's a lot to like there.

He's taking a lot of pitches lately, too. His first week or so, he seemed to be jumping on the first pitch a ton, but he's working a lot of deep counts lately. I think he probably could have a few more walks even; I'm not positive what his two-strike approach is like right now, but he looks very comfortable up there.

I'm about 15 miles NE of Dodger Stadium and we just got hit with some rain that should hit the stadium shortly. Could be delay-worthy, though I have to imagine they can play through it.
