The Carcillo thing just shows how much power Q has. It's clearly something he pushed for, imo.

 

all time wins among NHL Coaches

1. Scotty Bowman -a lot since he coached for 30 years (1244 to be exact)

2. Al Arbor- 782

3. Joel Quenville- 700 (in 17 years)

 

In 2-3 years Quenville becomes the 2nd winningest coach all time. If he really wants Carcillo that badly then it's worth giving him (gorilla Salad) the League minimum for a couple months to see.

Well said. The funny thing about Carcillo is he's a better skater than he is goon. He can't hit and isn't a very good fighter anymore, if he ever was. But as you said, Q has a man crush. So be it.

honestly, as said previously, Q can pretty much do whatever he wants. one of the greatest coaches of all time and he's brought two cups here and probably a third this year. #meatball #meathead?
