That UofI blowout of Cincy looks very bizarre in retrospect.

If Ohio State had been eligible they would have probably have destroyed Nebraska in the big ten game and then beaten ND and won the BCS. They'd be #1 right now right?

It's difficult to say with much certainty because they were excluded from the polls are year long, but my suspicion is that 1-loss Bama would've narrowly beat out OSU.

They're already fretting in Buckeyeland that should Bama or FSU lose, a one-loss school will play for the NC over OSU

While that's a possibility, they should probably be more concerned that Baylor will pass them with their schedule down the stretch.
