Was Loosen injured prior to being sent to Arizona? I'm too lazy to dig for the info, but his return has been night and day from his start to his season. I have to think there's a reason for that.

He was hurt before the season even started. Came back and and got rocked at Tenn, sent to Daytona, and has been dealing since.

The only numbers that are out of whack from him being bad earlier this year are the BB/9 and HR/9. Both obviously big problems, but he was still striking out a bunch of guys. I wonder if he's actually controlling the zone better now or if he's just getting more swings and misses on pitches out of the zone that AA guys would lay off.

Apparently, Pugliese completely retooled his delivery after last season. Seems to be working so far, he's off to a great start.

Has anything been communicated about Zastryzny? As a college guy you'd have to think that he sees Boise this year right? I find it a little odd that Skulina, who signed after him, has been assigned to Boise already while Zastryzny is still in instructs(?).

I wouldn't be too worried. He tweeted he threw his first side session over the weeked so, for whatever reason, he's behind Skulina, Masek and Frazier's schedule.
