I feel like people should be mentioning Javy BB's everytime they happen. They make me *almost* as happy as Javybombs.

Anyway, went 0 for 3 with a BB a K and a R.

Today's walk was his 15th of the season, giving him a new career high.

5.6% BB rate this season.

How about Marmol sent to Iowa and Rusin called up? WTF?

You do realize you can't just do that, right?

Can we just like delete his name off the roster and then hide his uniform or something?

Ha! That's the spirit.

And something like a 12% BB rate in June.

He's not bad in a low leverage situation. But in a save situation he becomes a hunk of cheese attached to a car battery to Dale Sveum's dim witted lab rat; you'd think that he'd eventually learn that every time he takes a bite, he gets his whiskers seered off.

You sure have a way with words.

Someone at PSD just figured this... fun with arbitrary endpoints

First 29 games (130 PA):

BB% - 3.8, K% - 30, .237/.286/.458

Latest 32 games (140 PA):

BB% - 7.1, K% - 16, .315/.388/.621

would be so great if the second half really is a thing

zych and mcnutt have been pitching better recently. there are some pretty good arms in the tennessee pen; would be nice if we could end up with at least one reasonably solid reliever out of that bunch.

They need to send Rosscup to AAA. Since they made him a reliever he's got 82 Ks in 56.1 IP, and this year he's just humiliating AA hitters. His K% is right there with 2010 Marmol.
