Wasn't last time closer to the day the won the Cup? There were 3 full days off this time between winning the Cup and the parade/rally. That seemed like a long time to me.

There was a video clip (I think it was from a bar of the 2 goals in 17 seconds) and one guy chanted something and the crowd replied. I heard it again during the parade.

lol the comments on this post are pretty funny from bitter wings fans, especially when they start posting GIFs of horrible goals Crow's given up in the past (I think I shuddered watching that dump in attempt that went in during the Phoenix series last year)

i don't understand the asterisk. the playoffs weren't abbreviated, just the regular season. They can asterisk the President's Trophy, just not the Cup.

When the Heat won a shortened season championship, I was pretty sure shortened seasons didn't count, but I'm okay backtracking now.

i just love watching Toews lift the stick and instantly skate for that spot on the ice before the hawks even had possession, it was like he was playing chess.
