Lots of speculation that Rose is coming back Monday.

First Comcast switched the game from CSN+ to CSN pushing the ratings darling Blackhawks to the alternate channel.

Also this site I've never heard of says a source is confirming his return on Monday but take with a huge grain of salt obviously...

Speculation and anticipation have reached an all-time high, and it seems that the Chicago Bulls are about to get a big boost from one of the hardest working players in the NBA. A source close to the situation has confirmed that Derrick Rose will finally make his long-awaited return to the Chicago Bulls on Monday night against the Denver Nuggets. Rose, who has been out of the lineup since tearing his left ACL in the first game of the 2012 playoffs on April 28th, has been rehabbing hard and is finally ready to return.

The Comcast thing seems rather legit though. Considering the ratings the Hawks have been getting it wouldn't make sense to put the Bulls without Rose against a good but not especially glamorous Nuggets team. We'll see.

I tweeted Friday that Derrick Rose has clearly expanded his offensive arsenal. You asked for more details, so here

they are: a much smoother, higher-arcing 3; a quick-release step-back mid-range jumper; and you know that trademark right-handed floater from 10-12 feet? He's working on being able to make the same shot from the same distance left-handed. Spoke with him after the game and while he remained non-commital about whether or not he'll play this season, he made a point of saying that the team is putting no pressure on him to return. I don't get the sense he's afraid of anything, including how his knee will respond once he's back; it's simply a matter of giving himself the optimal chance of not having any recurring issues once he does return. He's smart enough to know that several weeks of practice or hard training doesn't mean his body, including the ligaments in his knee, are fully ready to go as hard as he always has. It seems unlikely for someone to grow in height at 24, but I'd swear he's gone from 6'3" to 6'4". I'm the former and we were eye level the last time I spoke to him. All in all, he seemed to be in great spirits and, while it was merely a pre-game workout and a brief post-game conversation, I fully expect DRose 2.0 to be even better than the original.

lol @ growing an inch.

Thibs asked if Rip is done for the season. "There's an unknown. It's a back so those things are tricky. We'll have to wait and see."

Malcolm Thomas has reached agreement on a 10-day contract with the Chicago Bulls, a league source told RealGM on Monday afternoon.

Thomas has a flight to Chicago on Monday evening and will join the Bulls well in advance of Thursday night’s home game against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Yeah, you don't seem to understand the rule. And now them calling it on a call that wasn't nearly as close costs the bulls the game

Section I-A Player Shall Not:

Touch the ball or the basket ring when the ball is using the basket ring as its lower base.

Section I-A Player Shall Not:

a. Touch the ball or the basket ring when the ball is using the basket ring as its lower base.

EXCEPTION: If a player near his own basket has his hand legally in contact with the ball, it is not a violation if his contact with the ball continues after the ball enters the cylinder, or if, in such action, he touches the basket.

b. Touch the ball when it is above the basket ring and within the imaginary cylinder.

c. For goaltending to occur, the ball, in the judgment of the official, must have a chance to score.

it wasnt using the ring as it's lower base, it was outside the rim. and as is says the ball must have a chance to score. it was already out.

It's not both B and A to disallow the basket. and it was touching the rim and the player touched the rim, therefore A (doubly), therefore basket interference.

This is essentially the 50/50 rule. I believe the ball was coming off, and if so...

Taking a big steaming dump all over Golden State

Portland took a big steaming dump all over the Bulls tonight.

I'm loving the chances of getting a better draft pick with each passing week.
