As if the Bears don’t suddenly have enough problems, they now have to fret about when and if the players will rise up against their petulant, James Dean-wannabe quarterback, Jay Cutler.

Last night’s sideline incident with left tackle J’Marcus Webb, which featured Cutler swearing at and bumping the much bigger Webb, has created concerns within the organization that the players could eventually turn on Cutler, for good. That’s what a source with direct knowledge of the situation tells PFT.

That sounds like a bunch of BS to me.

That's exactly the type of thing Florio writes about every situation.

Apparently it's a popular theme today though. Ted Bruschi apparently said this morning that Jay needs to apologize to Webb and "fix this".

Funny thing is the picture that accompanies the article is....Webb tackling Cutler....wtf....

That's silly. We've seen players yelling at their teammates before - you saw the other team's QB do it last night too.

im sure it was sad for bears players to watch webb get abused all night, but if there's anyone on the team that doesn't feel terrible for what cutler has to put up with back there, they should be ashamed

The [expletive]? Webb was laughing just before Cutler decided to chew him out. The guy sucks at his job and was acting like a jackass; anyone on the team who sides with him over Cutler is a moron.

Well if nothing else, at least we aren't talking about Urlacher this week. Though I wish that wasn't because we were talking about Jay........again.

Don't forget that he also sells t-shirts with the words 'JWEBB NATION' on the front.

Webb winning the team over Cutler would be about all I could handle form this organization. I think I'd take up watching soccer at that point.

This organization has been a running joke since the mid 90's.

At this point, Cutler losing favor and eventually being traded is certainly looking to be more likely.

Tedy Bruschi thinks Jay Cutler should publicly apologize to his entire offensive line. Shouldn't that be the other way around?

@AwfulAnnouncing

Cutler clearly has his faults, but he's the ultimate punching bag for the NFL media. Guy can't win.

pretty much exactly how I feel about it. If we trade him now and tank the season, who could we draft at QB to start over?

How would that occur? Even with Jason Campbell we'd win too many games to get that draft pick.

I was thinking we give Enderle a chance, but I have no idea if he's on the team or even in the NFL.
