How does that not drop in the basket?!

I really like Valbuena

Yeah, he's way better than that bum Soto, AMIRITE.

Soto's been frustrating for a while, obviously.

But Valbuena's always hitting the ball hard, he's hit lefties well, and has shown surprising power, even to the opposite field. I like him a lot more than Stewart so far.

I just find perception funny. Yeah, Soto had a monstrously bad start to the year, but to see you griping about Soto one page and then fawning over Luis Valbuena the next is pretty funny.

And Valbuena's hit lefties well?

.262 for his career and interestingly his 2010 splits:

vs. RHP: .169

vs. LHP: .318

That's 2010. In 52 PA.

His total career PA against LH pitchers amounts to 153. Yes, those career numbers aren't bad, but they're inflated by the sample size. He barely faced any last year and he's not very good against them this year (the first time he's seeing them regularly as a fulltime starter).

How much longer should it take to get used to Rizzo's stance

huh?

He has the weirdest stance outside of youkilis or counsell I've ever seen. his entire upper body looks limp. whatever works I suppose.

He held his hands a LOT higher with san diego too, pretty obvious the limp wrists help him get around a lot quicker somehow.

CUBS are 12-30 (.286) when they allow 4 walks or more.... 24-22 (.522) when they don't

Go CUBS !!

What about when 3 of them are to the same player?
