hopefully my team will not [expletive] the bed this week!

 

also, it's annoying that i had like 4 2-start pitchers last week and now i have 1, who happens to be my worst starter (so i am playing randall delgado against the yankees tonight and hoping for a non-disaster).

 

also, how are we handling trades with brian (new guy)? trading some of his top players for good value is clearly the best thing for the future of his team, but - through no fault of his own - he probably doesn't have a good idea of what constitutes good value, since he hasn't been a part of this league for more than a week. i'd be happy to make offers with him, but don't want to be perceived as trying to rip off the new guy.

For example, on the year, De Aza and Reddick have been roughly equal to Ethier (recently traded for 2 top prospects) and over the last month, my whole OF has outperformed Ethier. De Aza is also exempt this year.

Ethier is 30th amongst OF over the past 30 days. He got off to a great start, but has settled into the 0.2800/0.3393/0.4500 type of hitter he really is at this point.
