castro's patience is worse than it's ever been, btw, and he's one of the guys in the lineup that the pitchers are pitching around.

bottom line is that hitters in a lineup can be told to adjust their approach from day-to-day. with zito, it's let him hang himself, even i know the book on him. that's about as simple of an approach that there is.
