BOTTOM OF THE FOURTH INNING

 

Pence doubled to down the left field line

Thome walked

Victorino grounded into a FC, 4-6, Thome out at second, Pence to third

Victorino stole second base

Nix walked

Ruiz singled to center field, Pence & Victorino scored, Nix to second

Orr flied out to left field

Blanton walked, Nix to third, Ruiz to second

Rollins doubled to down the right field line, Nix & Ruiz scored, Blanton to third

Bowden in (9th) to pitch for the CUBS

Polanco popped out to shallow center field

Cubs haven't scored over 4 runs in a game in about 2 weeks. Fun.

For a moment there I'd almost forgotten that Randy Wells was bad.

 

He had no hitter through three.

 

He more than made up for it in the 4th
