Most Memorable Offseason Storyline

As the highly anticipated '11-'12 offseason draws to a close, what was the most memorable storyline to come out of it? It's hard to believe that it wasn't too long ago that many of us legitamtely expected Prince Fielder or Albert Pujols, C.J. Wilson and/or Yu Darvish, Aramis Ramirez, to all be Cubs by now.
