Ok. I thought he might be too busy in Montreal but hopefully he can get a pm out today.

He probably hasn't seen my PM yet. I meant to say that he said he had someone else interested a few weeks ago.

He said he quit and pm'd Tim about it. This isn't grade school, so I assume someone isn't going to say they quit if they don't mean it. What purpose would that serve?

 

Given how busy Tim is and how little time we have, I think we'd be wise to think of replacements here. I mean, we can't have a hole during the draft so we need this resolved within a week.

Yep. I said one of us had to go during this past season, but I gave it another go thinking Adam would improve his social skills, or at least avoid speaking to me in a negative way. I actually held out a little hope since he was relatively quiet during the offseason. But no, he's back to being the Adam that has singlehandedly ruined my enjoyment of this league. I absolutely have no idea what his motivation for that is, but whatever. It's a fantasy league and there are thousands out there that I can jump into and not have to read his constant attacks on my integrity. It got to the point last year that I stepped down as commissioner. His behavior is at a point I don't want to be here at all now.

 

My apologies to everyone else. If there are future openings and Adam is no longer here, I'd love consideration to jump back in again.

 

Bukie expressed interest in possibly taking over a team. I told Tim in my PM that whoever takes over my team can take it over for free. It's already paid for, or so I assume. Tim hasn't updated the paid list in awhile.

I think the onus should be on bbb to find a replacement for himself. He's quitting during a busy time for the league and putting the new owner in a tough spot. If it were a family issue or something, I'd be willing to help out, but it's not like adam being a pain in the ass was a secret before now.

Haha! That's pretty funny. Why don't you put it on Adam? He's the one who can't control himself. He also does nothing constructive for this league except hurl insults at whoever he wishes. The team is free for whoever joins. I did commissioner duties for the past week even though I stepped down from being the commissioner. I believe I went above and beyond the call in helping GR get acclimated with the league. I did the same thing for you when you joined.

 

But if that's actually how you feel it should go down, I'll just have to be a disappointment to you, because I'm absolutely not going to look for my own replacement. Not only is there still a full week left in February, the season doesn't even start until April. If you can't find someone to replace me in that time frame, I doubt you really tried all that hard.

 

I think it's better that I am quitting now rather than during the season where a team just becomes abandoned. But, whatever.

 

ETA: Now if you want to replace Adam, I'd be happy to stay on and I'd be happy to find his replacement and pay for his team this year. But, that's the only way I'm hunting for a new team owner.

Bukie said recently he might want to get back in. If someone can check with him (or if he sees this) it would be great.

 

I'll try to find time to get online more this evening to read the PM's and respond.
