Jordan Schafer charged with felony possession

I said to a friend at the beginning of the year when he was still a Brave, "Jordan Schafer just has the look of some guy you'd buy pot from in high school". Apparently my analysis was spot on.

 

And yeah, marijuana prohibition is a ridiculous farce and an egregious waste of funds in its policing. I think the main reason its still in place is the lobbying clout of alcohol and big pharma.

lol 26 grams is not even an ounce. That's a felony?

 

Over 20 is a felony, as it's intent to distribute.

Not an expert, fyi. The following is really all the "knowledge" I can comment on for the subject: (edited in...) The main point is weed's value per gram is a lot... so 26 grams is a big number. And a dime bag, which Schafer likely contained the drug in, typically does not hold more than 1 gram. You can assume Schafer had 30+ bags, and easy to determine he had the intent to distribute - which is a felony. Probably more information than you bargained for....

 

why the hell would you assume he had it in dime bags?

 

it would be pretty nearly impossible to swallow an ounce of weed in the time he had between the time the cop put his lights on and the time he got to your window. he's probably puke anyways, even with water. and i putting it up your ass seems a bit excessive for something like pot. a lot of cops that would pull you over with less than an ounce would just dump it and let you go.

 

an ounce of pot isnt that much. i dont see any resume to assume he had intent to sell with an amount of that size. you could fit that in a jeans pocket.
