i've decided to go watch more live baseball this summer as i've got 2 minor league teams within an hour and a half of me, coupled with the fact that it just isnt worth watching the cubs on tv(gotta stop paying for MLBei every year...)

 

close by are the hickory(NC) crawdads(sally league) and the elizabethton(TN) twins(a rookie league, i think)

 

what cubs prospects could/should i be looking for and what teams do they play on?

Unfortunately, the Cubs don't have affiliates in either one of those leagues. Someone better in tune with the minors than I am might be able to tell you some good prospects in those leagues though.
