A quick summary:

 

On Friday the Pirates had a man on 1st and 2 outs in the bottom of the 14th inning. Tabata was at the plate with the pitcher's spot on deck, and the Pirates were out of bench players. So Hurdle sends McCutchen up to the on deck circle, even though he hits following the pitcher's spot. The confused Rockies decide to pitch to Tabata instead of walking him and pitching to the pitcher, and Tabata hits a game winning double. Pretty awesome.
