In the White Sox-Rays game Tampa Bay manager Joe Maddon was ejected for arguing a call that at first was in the Rays' favor but was then reversed. After he was ejected he did his best Carlos Zambrano imitation by ejecting all four umpires.

jeez the yankees have freddy garcia pitching as a long reliever (i guess) and also have russell martin, eric chavez and andruw jones. guess they're becoming a recruiting ground for players who used to be very good.

one of my former co-workers wrote on facebook that beckett is saving the red sox' season. one of his friends responded "it's game 9, calm down" and he said that going to 1-8 and losing 2 out of 3 to the yankees would basically end their season.

 

that my friends is a complete lack of perspective.
