Al took my guy.

Before I make my pick I want to clarify what is going to happen next. Once I make my pick is it going to be a free for all to pick up remaining minor leaguers or do we need to wait until Brian sets the waivers?

yes i agree that it would be good to have the commissioner rule on this before you go.

Free for all. Fill up your remaining rosters with whoever you want.

It's not fair for anyone to drop to the bottom of the waiver wire because you have less minor leaguers than other teams going into the prospect draft.

To be fair, I won't grab my next 2 or 3 guys until later today. As I mentioned before, most anyone that remains in the minor league talent pool is a mixed bag of "Betty Makesit" and "Betty Dont's"

I can hold off on turning on waivers to the end of today.

It's should also be noted that players not yet added to CBS that we create dummy accounts for probably do not score points if they are called up to the majors. If we create a dummy account, the manager should keep an eye on that player and when CBS adds the player, drop the dummy player and pick up the actual added player. It is also wise to point out to the rest of the league that you are making this transaction, as the dummy player won't show up as being dropped. It will just look like you are picking up a player.

It should probably also be mentioned that during the free for all, you must keep your roster legal. In other words, you can add a minor leaguer to your roster, but if it puts you over the limit, you will will need to drop someone immediately.

Next year we will need to start the prospect draft earlier so that it doesn't filter into the season.

Actually it does show up. I just dropped the dummy placeholder for Dae-Eun Rhee when I picked up another player, and the drop shows up.

Nevermind then. That might be new, but it doesn't matter either way.

Yeah. I'd like to get the waivers turned on sooner rather than later.

I have turned on the waivers feature. The first waiver run should be this Saturday. I believe all free agents will have to pass through waivers before they can be picked up on Sunday.

Once Sunday rolls around, I believe people can go on picking up players at will to fill up their minor league rosters.

If someone is in dire need of making an injury replacement today or tomorrow, I can probably turn off the waivers feature long enough for you to make the necessary add. But, I'd rather not turn it off for non-emergency adds, please.

I'm not a big fan of the fact that added players are placed directly into the starting line up, forcing the shift of the player to the bench or the minors or get caught with an illegal line up.

I'll look around and see if there is a fix for that. If I add a 3b and I already have one in my starting line up, it should move the added guy to the bench.
