i can't imagine a worse loss. at home facing a horrible team after they played the previous night, we come back at the very end and looks like we're going to tie it and our superstar clanks the free throw, and on top of it we lose gibson.

really everybody not named derrick rose should be embarrassed about this game, and that includes thibodeau for playing thomas over asik the entire second half.

Taj Gibson definitely out of it in locker room, said he couldn't remember play where he got hit. Concussion seems reasonable diagnosis.

I went to the Rockets game a few weeks ago too and for a few moments, it looked like this game was going to be extremely similar to that one. Definitely was a dud of a finish, though. I'd say the place was about 60% full for the final minute of the game, but it was actually pretty loud in there at the end.

 

Brutal loss. Rose didn't deserve to miss that FT at the end. Luol Deng might be one of the worst second half players I've seen. Dude shows up to play but once the second half starts, he disappears. And how come nobody looked for Korver at all tonight? Asik's mysterious disappearance was weird too. The defensive effort for 46 minutes was ridiculously bad.

i just don't understand why kurt thomas got so much time down the stretch, and i dont understand how he is still in an nba uniform. getting 5 PF in his first 7 minutes, letting baron davis' corpse blow by him, being unable to get 4 inches off the ground, etc etc.

 

this is right up there with the lucas game in terms of "wtf was thibodeau thinking".

 

if asik plays the second half instead of kurt thomas, i think we probably win this game. i just don't understand it. asik was pretty good in the first half (6 boards)and then flat out got benched. if he wasn't hurt, why the hell was he not playing the second half? because he got in some stupid doghouse or something?

 

there was one point in the 4th quarter where scalabrine and kurt thomas were on the floor at the same time. inexcusable.

Oh well. They won a championship in the last 6 months. I haven't seen one of my teams win one in 12 years and there are posters on here who have never seen one of their teams win it all. It's ridiculous whining to say only your teams lose or whatever the shtick is.

Because Asik didn't know how to defend Griffin. Thomas at least made him shoot from the outside instead of letting him dunk over him time and time again. But with Noah and Taj it, Thibodeau had to pick his poison.

Yeah. They were swept last year and the Clippers guy said the Clippers had won 7 or 8 of their last 10 against the Bulls going into yesterday.
