Rose is regressing while having the best season of his career. Got it.

too early to be calling it the "best season of his career" when we're 5 games in and you're basing it on counting stats that are more indicative of how much he's been forced to do (based on the ineptitude that's surrounded him offensively so far this season) than actual quality of play.

i'm not trashing rose. regressed was probably the wrong thing to say. it's more that i don't see much improvement over his game from last season.. at least not yet. i was hoping his defense would be better so far, and he's also been really bad from 3 (he claimed he had developed a 3, so i was hoping he'd look better from long range). his ts% is down so far (PER is up)

it's still way too early to tell how the season is going to go for him. he just seems a little confused on what he's supposed to be doing..... which is mostly because of the team around him. it's like he'll go through stretches where he'll be determined to pass and try to get his teammates involved offensively, then he'll go through stretches where he says eff it and tries to go into beast mode.

i really want to see his game when boozer gets back, because i think that will help him balance his offensive game.

Is there a lamer home crowd than the UC? Probably only Miami.

I never understood the quiet Bulls crowd. Every other Chicago sports crowd can get electric as hell but the UC is a morgue during Bulls games.

is it the crowd, or is the way the staidum sounds on tv? i've never been there, but i have definitely noticed how quiet bulls games are on tv. hawks too.

I've been to one Bulls game but it was a weird sporting experience. It was almost as if everyone was embarrassed to cheer. It was a fun game too. Ben Gordon went off for a bunch of threes on Philadelphia in 05 and the place was pretty quiet.

Hawks games are definitely louder. At least the last couple of years when they have been good.

Nice off Rose to shake of 3 quarters of terribad play and start to dictate the game. Noah's huge with the blocks and offensive rebounds.

Gotta make FTs though.

Yes please!

I've only been to one game there, for the playoffs vs. Cleveland, but it was deathly quiet. I feel like NBA crowds in general are quieter than any other sport.

I remember watching the Thunder/Lakers series last year and I thought the roof was gonna get blown off for the games in OKC. Same with the old Arco Arena crowds when the Kings were good.

Well yeah, but aren't they more the exceptions than the rule? How many stadiums actually get loud for a regular season game?

How do you turn that over????
