League starts 2 RBs/3 WRs

 

I have Turner, Taylor, Hightower, F. Jones as my RBs

 

I have C. Johnson, R. White, Colston, Aromashadu, Holmes as my WRs

 

Other guy has Rice, Bradshaw, Matthews, Best, Forsett as his RBs

 

Has Garcon, Knox, J. Jones, Burleson, and Massaquoi as his WRs.

 

What's a fair trade here? I know he's high on the Bears offense, is there any chance I don't get laughed at for trying Arom for Best? Do I trade one of my big 3 and count on Holmes to pick up where he left off come week 5?

I would try the Best for Aromashadu. Or maybe consider trading one of your better WR for one of his better RB options. Really depends on how high you are on Best. Remember he goes against Minnesota in Week 3, and Green Bay in week 4.

I get:

2011 1st round pick

2011 3rd round pick

i'm thinking of taking it just for the picks...i never play brown or jackson since i'm loaded at rb, and keiland williams is available in my league...i know thomas hasn't seen the field yet, but this is a dynasty league and i'd have him for 2 seasons a $1 and wouldn't have a cap hit if i dropped him...this deal will also shed $15 off my payroll.

the only piece you worry about losing there is Brown, but he's lower on your depth chart than Foster, Turner, Mathews, Forsett, DAW, so yeah, you might as well

 

i'd probably try to trade DAW and/or Mathews too, for something like Charles if you can

bryant, best, mathews, tate, spiller, gresham, gerhart, clausen, bradford...those may not have all been in the first round.

 

i'm actively trying to trade daw at the moment.
