Chris Coghlan injures himself while celebrating

He was going to give the old "pie in the face" to teammate Wes Helms and tore the hell out of his knee. He may require surgery and be out 6-8 weeks.

 

Helms drove in the game winning run in the 11th inning of Sunday's game over Atlanta, triggering the celebration. Florida has now banned that celebration after Coghlan's injury.

Just another in the line of injuries suffered while being stupid. The one I remember most was Mike Harkey tearing up his knee and essentially ruining his career because he thought he was Ozzie Smith and tried to do a cartwheel.
