All Star Game Trivia

There used to be 2 ASG's each season: It happened each year from 1959 to 1962. Games were played in Pittsburgh and Los Angeles in 1959, Kansas City and New York's Yankee Stadium in 1960, San Francisco and Boston in 1961 and Washington, D.C. and Chicago's Wrigley Field in 1962.

The first All-Star Game was played in 1933 in what ballpark?

Comiskey Park, Chicago: The game was the idea of Arch Ward, a sports editor for the Chicago Tribune, to coincide with the celebration of Chicago's Century of Progress Exposition. Comiskey Park hosted the All-Star Game three times, and the ballpark that replaced it - U.S. Cellular Field - hosted the game on the game's 70th birthday in 2003.
