Robert Whitenack with his third consecutive good outing. He finally has his ERA under 6. He came into this season with some hype because of his super impressive knuckle curve but has been quite the disappointment thus far.

Along with his second SB.

.000/.333/.000, 2 SB in 6 AB. Great line.

Yao-Lin Wang with a horrible first pro inning - 4 H, 4 ER, 2 BB, 0 K,

Is it wrong that I'm vaguely hoping for him to go 0/20 with 10 BBs in his first 30 PAs?

Meanwhile, Wang's made a very nice recovery since his disaster of a first inning, with a perfect subsequent two innings. His final line: 3.2 IP, 5 H, 4 R, 3 ER, 2 BB, 2 K

Brandon May is currently hitting the heck out of the ball. He's 3/3 and a triple short of the cycle. He's 22 and on the old side for the NWL, so I'm guessing he'll get bumped up in the near future. My memory of him was that the Cubs were holding him back in EXST to try him out at catcher, but he's only been used at 1B and DH so far in Boise. His bat was never an issue with him.

Joseph Zeller is the first Cubs 2010 draftee to make his debut. He's pitched a scoreless inning in relief so far.
