I picked Phil to win The Masters and I'm more confident he'll win this weekend. Sounds like dry, windy and difficult conditions. The players were having a hard time keeping it on many of the greens and expectations are that it will continue to get firmer through Sunday.

Looks like the big bombers who spray it aren't going to contend. Tiger's gonna struggle I think. When he won in 2000 he had that stinger 2 iron off the tee down to perfection and for some reason he doesn't use it any more.

Phil's putting will probably level out somewhere between what he did Thursday and Friday. Still he's striking it well enough and his approach is such that I think he's the man to beat heading into the weekend.
