How much would it suck through to have to throw cash in to trade a prospect? The kid's paid like a early veteran middle reliever even thoug he hasn't done jack since 07.

About nine months ago, I posted a thread to mock-seriously "prove" that Aaron Miles' '09 season was the worst offensive performance in Cubs history. Compare:

 

Ram '10: 185 PA, .162/.227/.269

Miles '09: 170 PA, .185/.224/.242

 

Yikes!

 

The only explanation is that Ram is being possessed by the ghost of Aaron Miles.

He reminds me more of Todd Hundley- can't catch up to a fastball, can't see a slider but will hit the occasional mistake for a HR.

I guess we are just going to have to wait on Josh Vitters to develop. I hate to say it but A-Ram looks done. This is looking like something way deeper than just a slump.

I have an idea. Let's give him 2 days off, then bat him cleanup again. Any day now someone will flip that magic switch that instantly turns the worst hitter in the major leagues into a run producer.

Per WSCR, Aramis will likely be DLd today. If so, I really hope they call up Chad Tracy and give him the full time 3B job as long as he can stay hot. I know Chads ina different situation in his career than Fox and Hoff were when they were caalled up, but they were pretty hot at 1st, so hopefully Tracy can do it for us too.

we're not having a very good season if people are so excited about the prospects of chad tracy playing third base on a regular basis.

 

not that it's unjustified, though. we need the opposite of FREE HEE SEOP or whatever right now.
