I am using a Canon EOS T1i with a 70-300 IS lens, with an Extreme Sandisk card. Takes some great pictures (better with more light).

Sweet! I'm kinda torn about the release of the T2i - the T1i is awesome with 15 mp, but the T2i is taking it up to 18 mp. I got my T1i this past July, and I am really getting into this photography thing. Thinking about taking a class and really learning how to use it.

 

I'm about to pull the trigger on a 70-200 telephoto lens with 2.8f (REAL fast capabilities). Then if things go well, may step up to the upper level bodies like the 5D. Lots of people liked the pictures I took at my wifes dance performances, and I could see myself making a lick off the pics.

My roommate has a T2i and he just bought (literally like an hour ago) a Tamron 18-270mm F/3.5-6.3 lens, we were just messing around with it, it's pretty awesome. Cost him about $580 after a rebate. Plus the T2i has the benefit of full HD video, so that's always a bonus

The T1i also has HD video, but it's a beyotch to focus. I rarely use it. Great camera, though.

They were $150 I believe. They also had such Cubs/Rangers luminaries as Rafael Palmeiro, Jarry Hairston and Milton Bradley.

Yeah, I heard those guys talking about Russell. I didn't even know who the heck they were talking about. . . .Russell is new to me.

 

I liked that store, too. Some of the stuff was cheap --- $30 shin guards. $15 bat boy jerseys. Some of the real jerseys were $50 or less. I just don't give a crap about the Rangers (I've tried liking them, it just doesn't work out).

 

Best deal in Arlington is the indoor concession stand to the right of the wiffle ball fiedl --- $7 gets you a drink, hot dog, and bag of chips. Everywhere else drinks were $4.50ish and dogs were $4.50.
