The order for the regular draft is set at the trading deadline (July 31). For this year the same order was used for the prospect draft, but that seems to be up for discussion going forward.

I personally like the idea of the trade deadline for the regular draft and the end of the season for the prospect draft.

I had conceded this week since I only led by a couple points going into today, and I was out of pitching starts while Rodelo had Halladay going. But somehow my team scored over 60 points without a pitching start, while Halladay proved human and had a negative outing. Suddenly I'm looking at a 2-game winning streak.

Actually I think the draft order should be based on the power rankings rather than the actual standings.

 

(I'm dead last in the power rankings despite being ahead of a couple teams in the standings, so I'd have the #1 pick at the moment. :twisted: )
