Montero likely needs surgery after taking one off the knee and tearing the meniscus, so that's awesome.

Roberts hasn't played in 4 days and likely won't play this week, so it'd be nice if the O's just went ahead and put him on the DL so I could make use of the roster spot.

damn, if i had known greinke was available for a guy who might die and prospects i would have picked daryl kile up off waivers to match that offer.

I have no idea either. I gave up my 2 best prospects (Wallace/Stanton), a potential future ace (Zimmermann) and the 3rd best SS in this trade. It makes me a contender this year, but may hurt in the future depending on how Stanton and Wallace pan out.

the 3rd best ss currently battling polio maybe.

Is there a limit to how many players you can have on the injured list on the team? I'm up to 3 now, just didn't want to break any rules.

EDIT: NVM, 3 is the limit. Now I just hope nobody else gets hit with a line drive.

Cameron missed today and is listed as day-to-day with possible appendicitis, so I benched him for the rest of the week, moved Ross to OF, and put Johnson at U.

How does everyone like the GS feature on the league scoring page? Any questions about it?

Looking for feedback as to whether it's as useful to others as I find it to be to track your starts.

Very helpful, and it shows me that Raw has a good chance of going over starts this week unless he starts benching pitchers. :)

i've never had a problem counting to seven, so i haven't really noticed it.

Now, now, Clint! I just want to put that other league out of my memory at this point.

But, I sincerely hope you got to keep all the players I traded to you.

you shouldn't bring this up until the week is over.

Why, what's the harm in saying that he has a good chance of going over?

what's the benefit? what if his 8th start is -20?

this about happened to me last week. had HBC not hit two late sunday hr's, i would have won with carpenter's negative start counting. but since i brought it up, i'm sure chuck would have noticed, gotten that 8th start taken away and actually added to his score in doing so.

I think it's useful. I haven't had any trouble tracking my own starts, but it's easier to keep track of how many starts your opponent has left (especially, as you pointed out earlier, if a pitcher puts up a zero-point start which could easily be misinterpreted as no start if you don't keep close track)..

CBS Sports doesn't know the difference between Carlos Silva and Carlos Marmol. The pop-up box you can click on for the latest news about Marmol referred to him as Silva twice.
