Hoff has been awful this spring.

There will be a silver lining if Carlos Silva opens the season in the rotation. We can all immediately focus more of our time on West Tennessee and Iowa.

You might want to focus more of your time on realizing that West Tennessee hasn't been a Cubs' farm team for a few years now. :D

Everyone was hating on Marquis until he proved to be a valuable 5th starter. If Silva can find his control and keep the ball down. Would it be so bad to have him in the rotation? If he can keep it up it would provide some much needed stability in the line-up. With only Z and Lily as the only other vets. I'd wish Silva the best, and if he can keep us in games I will root for him.

Most people kept right on "hating on" him because he cost way too damn much. The value of a 5th starter is pretty quickly negated when they're vastly overpaid.
