What are the odds Hendry could bring in Jonny Gomes to complete the OF? A Fukudome/Gomes platoon in RF would have the chance to be very productive and he would be a significant upgrade as an everyday fill-in if Soriano or Byrd misses significant time (With Fukudome moving back to CF if it is Byrd). Having Byrd as the CF and Fuld as a late inning defensive replacement give you a lot of versatility for double switches and Gomes an Hoff on the bench most days would give the Cubs a legitimate power threat from each sides on the bench for the first time in a while.
