Tennessee begins a five game set against West Tenn (their last series of the season) that will determine who will win the division. As things stand now, Tennessee is 1 game ahead of West Tenn and Chattanooga.

Mike Safford[/url]"]NEW PLAYERS - I have been thoroughly impressed by the five new players that the Cubs promoted from Mesa, as the quintet has given the Hawks some life. The lefties - young Austin Kirk and Brooks Raley look like they have some potential, while Steve Grife and Dae-Eun Rhee have good stuff. I hope the fans in Boise will like the speed of Francisco Guzman - he is super fast.

that guy bob wagner went 2-4 with a triple and homer for boise. i have no idea who he is except that he seems to have some nice pop. hak ju lee went 2-4 with a double and SB, but he also had an error.

daytona lost their first game thanks to 3 errors from marwin gonzalez. vitters was 2-4 and has doubled in his only AB of the second game.

Transactions:

- Jose Rosario promoted from Mesa to Daytona

- Henry Williamson promoted from Daytona to Iowa

Interesting. You can't take much from late season triple promotions from the AZL since they're mostly done to fill roster holes but you rarely see a guy who was in the DSL earlier in the season all the way up at high-A. There isn't much information about most Latin American prospects when they're down in the AZL but Rosario just turned 19 and had a nice K-rate in both the DSL (11.6/9) and AZL (11.1/9) this season so he might be an interesting prospect.
