And to be fair, I think most people on here had given up on him too.

I don't think that's fair. I don't think most people on here had given up on him.

 

 

I shouldn't have used the words "given up on", but I remember when he was traded there wasn't the type of reaction you would expect from people who still thought he was a potential stud.

i think everyone on here was basically resigned to him being moved because of the outfield logjam. lou never really gave him a fair shake you know.

The way he was treated still irritates me. With the other bats in the line-up Pie should have been allowed to play everyday in CF and work out his issues at the plate.

 

I'm just glad he's getting a chance w/ a team and thankfully it's an AL team.
