It'll be important to keep Holliday (and Larussa, maybe) if the Cardinals want to keep Pujols.

 

Pujols seems loyal but not blindly loyal. If they have a good team around him, I can't see him leaving.

 

That being said, it should be interesting to see what happens to Holliday this offseason. He's having quite the contract push and the Mets, Red Sox and Yankees will all be looking for a corner outfielder in the offseason. That, plus Scott Boras, and you have quite the situation.
