If the Cubs nail this one down, it would have been amazing if they could have pushed another run across last night and won that game. A 6-1 road trip right after the break would be awesome. Unfortunately, that didn't happen.

 

a 5-2 road trip is still pretty damn good, even if 4 of those games were against the Nats.

Doesn't Brad Lidge have a much higher ERA in non-save spots this season?

I think Lidge just sucks this season in general.

Brad Lidge has a 6.82 ERA coming into the game this year. He sucks in all situations.
