brendan ryan and skippy schumaker are hitting over .300

Schumaker always hits over .300, I don't know why this surprises you. He's hit hit over .300 the last two seasons.

Had the Cardinals lost 1-0 today, Pineiro would have been the majors first 10 game loser, all the while having an ERA of 3.20. He's pitched pretty well this season.

He's not any good, really, but he's good for hitting .300/.350/400

The Indians continue their march toward Bryce Harper. They were up 9-2 early on vs. the White Sox, but its since a 10-8 ballgame in the 6th with 2 on and 0 out. Are the White Sox really this good or the Indians just this bad.

instead of spending big $$$ on pitchers like zambrano, dempster and lilly, the cubs just need to sign dave duncan for $10M a year and then sign a bunch of losers like pineiro, wellemeyer, lohse and looper to pitch well for about 35 bucks a year.

You just now figured that out?

There really isn't much of a difference between Dempster and Lilly and Pineiro and Lohse, career wise, as starters.

They are all relatively, average starters who've had 1-2 "good" seasons as starters in about 7-10 years of their careers.

no i figured it out a long time ago, but the cubs are not creative enough to do something like that.

pineiro had been lousy for years when he signed with the cards. his "good" seasons came in the early 2000s. lilly (with the exception of 2005) has been consistently better than pineiro for quite a while.
