Down 2-0 in the bottom of the 10th, Hak-Ju Lee ties the game with a 2-RBI double down the left field line! Still only one out and Logan Watkins is due up after a pitching change.

It was a good piece of hitting, went with the pitch to left.

He needs to get up here. we NEED a shortstop, and now, well ANY offense.

You mean the 18 year old whose never bee past low A? Yeah, I dont think they'll be bringing him up any time soon.

ChiefsVoice is talking about the Chiefs the team he announces for, one level up from where Lee's at. Not out of the question.

I wonder if they would consider sending Junior Lake down and bringing up Lee if he continues to hit well. Junior looks absolutely over matched and his 74SO to 8BB is horrendous.

Honestly, I think WSR is right for a host of reasons - he's only been at this level for a few weeks of hot hitting, it's his first pro season/first season in the U.S., he's already young for his level and he'd lose a bunch of his Korean teammates who'd remain in Boise.

3B Josh Vitters to Daytona

2B Nathan Samson to Tennessee

SS Darwin Barney to Iowa

1B John Contreras to Daytona

Thanks.

Not sure what about Contreras' .393 OPS got him to Daytona, probably his age.

What does this mean for Tony Thomas?

SS Darwin Barney to Iowa

good to see him and Clevenger in Iowa. We need to start routing out the 30 year olds from that team and bring up more guys like them, Colvin, and Marquez Smith. Remember, winning the PCL should be the I Cubs second goal, and developing players should be the first.

Yohan Gonzalez was great for Boise: 3 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 5 K, 4-0 GO-FO.

Boise went into extras scoreless but they've surrendered 2 in the 10th.

Tarlandas Mitchell was very good as well: 3 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 6/1 K/BB

:-k

Look 4 posts up.

Okay.

yeah but I think he interpreted Nate's post as wanting Lee to be called up to MLB.

Sorry I meant Peoria because Lake may be in over his head here. He hasn't shown much improvement. Or we can wait for LeMahieu

And congrats to both Samson and Barney. Very well deserved for both. Nate played his best ball under Ryno and Barney was very focused on this season when I talked to him at the Cubs Convention in January and its great to see him at Iowa before the AS break.
