Im guessing that everyone doesn't like Phil Rogers to begin with, but...

57% of the 15,000 votes there are pro- waiving Z

I'm sure alot of that is a knee-jerk reaction to the team playing poorly and Z acting stupid. I could see growing tired of his antics and floating his name out in the trade discussions, but giving him away for nothing is ridiculous.

It may be knee jerk, but it's also stupid people voting. I didn't even bother reading the article, let alone voting, I'm sure lots of people didn't waste time on it. Plus you probably had White Sox fans voting.

This team minus Zambrano is not going to win anything at all. I realize he may be overpaid, but it would make alot more sense to move Soriano. And giving Z away for nothing would be just about the worst move we could make.

I think maybe if we fall out of contention entirely and we become sellers, maybe trading Zambrano might be something to CONSIDER. And that's only if we can get something good in return for him... giving him away would be crazy. But as far as getting rid of him to improve our chances THIS YEAR, that's one of the worst ideas I've heard in quite awhile.
