I didn't say I'm upset he's not wearing a Cub uni, I said it is bittersweet. I am fan of the organization, of course, but I am a bigger fans of the players who play(ed) for the organization.

 

Why? That's very weird. I'm a Cubs fan above all else in baseball. I don't care who plays for them when they win a WS, I just want to see them win a freaking WS. I like Wood and all, but don't see how it could be the least bit bittersweet to see him give up a run to the Cubs.

 

That maybe, but I have more great memories of Cubs players (especially KW, that nicest ballplayer, I've ever met) especially watching the game with my father and brother. Don't get me wrong, I am fan of the Cubs organization, BUT I do have my favorite current and former Cub players. And KW is one of my favorite players. So it sucks the Cubs had to let him go, and then watch him blow the game.
