This has the feel of one of those games where the 1st team on the board gets the W. Sadly, weve had a lot of those lately, and sadly, its usually the other team on the board first.

 

And yes, Fukudome is back to his post May 2008 form, and probably going to stay that way.

That is the Derek Lee we've come to expect.

 

So you expect him tp DP because of one season despite this only being his second all year?

Yes...I frankly expect all our hitters to make outs these days.

That pitch to Fuku was awfully meaty and all he could do is a 3-hopper up the middle.

 

 

Do they even try to fix his approach? Is he just afraid of the ball? Why do they let him go up there every day with the same approach and fail?

Von was interviewed on the radio before the game and said he is in the beginning stages to helping Fuku, he said Fuku is not planting his front foot before starting his swing, he compared it to throwing a ball before your front foot lands.

Not good.
