Luis Rivas off the Iowa DL.

Kyle Reynolds released.

That means that OF Dylan Johnston and relievers Jake Muyco (RHP) and Jason Ruhlman (LHP) are the only players remaing in the system from 2005. And Johnston and Muyco had to convert positions.

Well, to be fair, they did draft Michael Brenly in 2005...and didn't sign him.

:(

What a depressing draft that's become.

Can someone remind me of Parker's stuff? I have found very little on what he throws.

He's doing quite well for somebody who was converted to pitching just a couple of years ago. I had my eye on him last year but then had forgotten about him in the offseason, but he appears to have taken another big step forward this year.

Even though he has problems with walks, only 3 home runs given up in 130 professional innings and over a strikeout an inning will still give you very good results.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him added to the 40 man in time for September callups. Does anyone disagree with that assessment?

92-95 mph FB and a plus slider. Very interesting relief prospect and I hope he's with the big league team in September.

Demote Guyer to Daytona already.

Huseby as fantastic today in Peoria: 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 5 K

Dylan Johnston is batting .179 in Daytona with a 40% strikeout rate......at least Guyer is making contact with a .173 batting average.

Damnit. Huseby faces 1 batter in the 10th and gives up a walk-off HR.
