The thing about that screen behind home plate at every park is that it prevents the former from happening. The guy just freaked out and lost his popcorn and, appropriately, the lady he was with laughed at him mercilessly the next few minutes.

That's what I thought but he freaks out so badly that it looked like there was an impact.

Speaking of which, did anybody see the Bartman-style play that happened in Tampa Bay? A fan stole the game winning pop up away from Longoria and Longoria flipped out just like Moises. The game ended on the next play, however.

 

Best part was the fan was wearing a Longoria t-shirt.
