Detroit 4-2 over the Blues.

Red Wings 4-3 over the Blackhawks.

 

I only added that last part because I can see it happening and me being pissed. But at least I can say "I told ya so!"... but if the Hawks advance it's alllll good.

Got some really intriguing match-ups in round 1.

 

I'd say Boston/Montreal and Philly/Pitt are going to be damn good series.

 

I think the Blackhawks have the easiest road in round 1.

everything is not set yet. The bottom of the Western Conference can still be shuffled. If St Louis wins today, Anaheim will play San Jose. I am not sure who the Wings will play then since both St Louis and Columbus will be tied in points and wins.

 

I hope the Wings dont have to play Anaheim the first round. I am getting pumped up, I dont get to worked up in the regular season. Also me and my son may go to game 5 in Detroit. Hope there isnt a sweep.

I am on vacation from the 18th-23rd in the Keys, and I don't think they have CSN-Chicago there. I highly doubt they have VS. as well. This sucks...ESPN needs to get the rights again.

 

I am probably going to have to miss the first 1-2 Bulls games as well. Blah..

Ehh... the only teams we've shown a will to beat this year that are in the playoffs are SJ and CAL.

 

I think I'd rather play SJ in the 2nd round given their history.

Ok after the predictions are made... I will post the daily matchups for discussion as a GDT format. I don't know how many of you will be active in playoffs GDTs. I, personally LOVE playoff hockey and will watch as many games as I can no matter which one it is, so I'll be there.

 

Would be pretty cool to get the hockey people on NSBB together to discuss other teams than their home town team or of course the Hawks.

I think your picks are pretty realistic... all of them but the Nucks over the Blues in 4. The way the Blues have been playing, I don't see any feasible way the Blues don't win at least one. Other than that, those are all solid possibilities.
